The Shoulders
"And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders."
(Deuteronomy 33:12)
When I was young,
My dad would carry me around in his arms.
Sometimes, he'd let me sit on his shoulders, If I recall correctly.
Things didn't change even if I was a bad boy that day.
And the pride he feels when he shows me off to to his friends,
Priceless.
Today, Daddy God's the same.
He carries you in His mighty arms,
Between His shoulders,
Proud of you despite your past.
Beloved, remember,
He Loves you,
He Cares for you,
And He wants you to allow Him to carry out His Father's duties.
