Life Through Lenses

Regardless of race, language, the social class we belong to,

there's one thing unique about us.

The one gift that carries a special meaning, the one thing that determines who we are.

Some thing to remind people who we are-

Our Name.

And most of us, we know too many people,

To a point even names are hard to remember.

We see a familiar face, yet the person's name just doesn't come out.

Well, that probably sums up the significance of a name in Man's point of view.

Daddy God is different. 

6 Billion of us here,

Yet He knows each of us by name.

On the 3rd day, when Jesus rose,

Mary went to the tomb of Jesus,

Only to find that it was empty.

Fact was Jesus had risen,

and was about to ascend,

when He saw Mary.

He thus appeared near the tomb as a gardener.

She turn to Him, not knowing who He was,

and Asked where Jesus was.

She didn't get her answer.

And in the end, how did Jesus revealed who He was to her?

He turned around as Mary was about to leave and called out

"Mary!"

It was then she knew she found her Shepherd.

For someone who knows so many people,

For someone of that esteem to call you by name,

You know how precious and special you are to that person.

And when He calls you by name,

All the darkness and sorrows somehow leaves,

Because you know who Knows you by name.
