"The Lord mocks the mockers, but is gracious to the humble"(Proverbs 3:34)
Realize how some soccer point skywards when they score a goal?
They're probably Christians, diverting all the praise given to them to their beloved Daddy God.
In any case, we often realize that the cost of downfall for many great people,
Is pride-too much of it.
It's good to get recognized for achievements we make every now and then.
But when we dwell in it too much,
That's when pride sets in.
Beloved, as you get praised today,
As people make known the favor you have around you,
Remember, who made it possible, and the price paid for it.
