For This Cause (7) - Commitment

"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.""
(Joshua 24:15)

Hi beloved.  Now that we established that we have a purpose,
The thing left to do, is to be committed to it.

There is no such thing as being "sort of" committed.
Either you are, or you're not.

Jesus once said, that in order to follow him, we must take up the cross.
Beloved, that doesn't mean we have to be sick and poor all the time.
It simply means, to take a stand.
A stand or what you believe in, and what you'll stay committed to.

What you know will ultimately be what you believe in.
And you know, that He has a purpose for you.

And when you believe in His purpose for you,
When you are convicted by His purpose for you,
You'll be in this world, but not of this world.

Beloved.  You are called for a purpose, a cause.
And it is with it, you will be that change the world needs to see.

And this concludes this series.

The above mentioned are revaluations caught from listening to the series "For this cause" by Pastor Charles Nieman
