Fragrance
"Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing."
(2 Corinthians 2:15)
The night Jesus was born, 3 wise men came.
They brought to Jesus 3 gifts.
Gold, frankincense and myr.
So what is the significance of it?
Gold represented where Jesus came from.
His background of royalty.
Myr speaks of His death.
As His mortal body was removed from the cross,
it was wrapped in myr.
And frankincense?
It speaks of the sweet aroma Jesus was to Daddy God throughout His time on earth.
Beloved, it was because Jesus was this sweet aroma to Daddy God,
He was able to perform the miracles recorded in the bible.
And through His finished work on the cross,
today when we come to daddy God,
We emit the same sweet aroma as Jesus did.
Beloved, stop disqualifying yourself,
deeming yourself unworthy of the Love of Daddy God.
You are worth it.
And this message, glorifies Jesus.
