Assumptions
"Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths."
(Psalm 25:4)
This is awesome.
I was doing my bible study when I came across this reading material from the my usual bible study website.
It says that when David wrote this short and simple prayer in Psalms,
He actually made 2 great assumptions,
which was relatively true.
First, he assumes that God does have a purpose for him.
A purpose so great,
if he bears it in mind,
the obstacles he faces in life are nothing but distraction.
Secondly, He assumes that God was actually willing to show him His purpose for him.
See beloveds, David did not pray long prayers.
He didn't pray "Hard"
And neither should we.
Sometimes, we get so desperate,
our prayers sounds like we're begging.
Is Daddy God that unwilling?
Pray short but precise prayers.
Make known your request to Daddy God.
And watch Him supply you exceedingly, abundantly,
above what you asked in Jesus name.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
