The Jesus I know.
"Then he said, "Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you'll get some!" So they did, and they couldn't haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, "It's the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.
(John 21:6-7)
The reason why so many people today are against Christianity,
is because many Christians portray their faith as something,
where they have to sacrifice everything for,
and not expect a return.
Friends who aren't Christians often come up to me,
and ask me if I'm forced to tithe or drop some money into the offering bag.
Well, I'm not.
See beloveds, ultimately, the life we live,
the actions we portray to the world,
shows the kind of Jesus we know inside us.
And what better way to gain knowledge of Jesus than
the written word in the bible!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
(John 1:1)
And the whole of Jesus life, up till the point He ascended to Heaven,
He never once demanded or forced any one into giving.
In fact, He gave freely,
to the sick, the poor and the unwilling.
The Jesus I know, is a Jesus of abundance.
Full of Grace, He's a free giver,
especially when I'm undeserving.
Well Beloved, What's the Jesus you know like?
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
