Worthy, Unworthy.

"And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants."
(Luke15:19)

We all know the story of the prodigal son.
Of how he took his inheritance way too early,
and squandered it all on wasteful living.

So what is it about this parable that's so special?

Well for starters, this parable though titled "The prodigal son"
It's actual focus is on the father.
The grace the father showed.

Towards the end of the story,
prodigal son realized his mistake.
He was hungry, and wanted to go home.

He wrote a speech.
In it he mentioned he wasn't worthy to be called a son again.

Well beloved, think about it.
When did any of us ever qualified to be called our parent's son or daughter?
Whatever we ate, wore and even lived in,
were paid for by our parents!
And we were given our necessities regardless of our behavior!

Beloveds, many times,
we try too hard to earn grace.
We try too hard to be worthy of the tittle "Child of God".

Being a child of God was never an issue of worth, beloved.
It's a matter of birth.
The birth u got, when you received Jesus into your life.

A christian life is a response, to the finished work of Jesus.
Grace is running towards you.
Embrace it.

You, are worth it.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
