The Journey
"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love."
(Romans 5:3-5)
The trails, the tribulations.
Sometimes it's just not fun to go through, isn't it?
Sometimes, we get so distracted by it,
we become so short sighted,
we forget the greater one who's in us,
working a purpose for us.
Beloved, nobody said life as a believer would be easy.
Come some point, we'll find ourselves in the midst of a storm.
But storms do not last forever.
And at the end of it,
when out walk out still intact,
what that did not kill you, will only make you stronger.
And each journey you go through, was for a purpose.
Thinking back, if I had to go through all of my journeys in the past again,
I'd probably do it again gladly, because I know where it brought me to - Close to Jesus.
Above all, I know, when all else fails, Jesus still loves me,
and He won't watch me die.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
