One Chance, One Choice, One Moment.
"Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard. She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head."
(Mark 14:3)
They say opportunity doesn't come knocking on your door twice,
so when the decisive moment comes, you better know what to do.
The favor of Daddy God poured upon us opens may doors for us,
but it takes wisdom to walk through it.
The bible records a certain teenage girl,
who's neighbor was hosting Jesus.
She knew this was the Man,
who offered her a new lease of life,
who forgotten her past and loved her for who she was.
There and then, she had an expensive alabaster jar of perfume.
As she held it in her hands,
thoughts raced through her mind.
On one hand, she wanted to anoint the Man who saved her life.
On the other, she looked at herself, her past, and what people might say about her.
But the grace shown to her got the better of her,
and she walked up to Jesus,
broke the bottle and anointed Him.
This simple action, caused her a lifetime of honor,
when Jesus said that each time His word was preached,
her deed would be remembered.
Beloved, are you that lady with that alabaster jar today?
Are you disqualifying yourself from allowing Jesus to work through you?
Well the door is always opened, and the jar can never be removed from your hands.
you can either keep it,
or allow it to be of good use to your savior.
The choice is yours to make.
And This message, Glorifies Jesus.
