True Honor.
""Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I promised that your branch of the tribe of Levi would always be my priests. But I will honor those who honor me, and I will despise those who think lightly of me."
(1 Samuel 2:30)
Ever felt like you were unjustly reprimanded,
scolded and corrected for something you didn't do?
That was exactly what happened to me yesterday.
I was accused of something I didn't do,
and of all people, by someone whom I've always looked up to.
Me being me,
of cause I became fuming mad.
I confided in a friend, who shared with me a certain something.
That if I still treasured my relationship with my leader, I should apologize for being mad,
and trust God to defend myself.
True that=)
It donned upon me that,
above all, no matter how unjustified the situation was,
my leader, was still my leader,
and that God has placed her over me for a reason.
I apologized.
And I didn't regret doing so.
That, was true honor.
Sometimes, it's because of pride,
and dignity that we do not want to be on the losing end.
And at the end of the day, arguments and conflicts arises.
All because of pride.
Beloved, is it worth it?
Sometimes saying sorry doesn't mean you're wrong.
It simply meant that you treasure this relationship more than your pride.
That, is true humility, honor.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
