The Wall

"When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams' horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town."
(Joshua 6:5)
Well all know the story of Jericho.
How God granted His people a victory.

I was reading it a few days ago,
and I started to wander why God needed to have His people march round the city,
when at the end of the day,
it was Him who brought it down?

And I felt this thought impressed in me.
And I feel it has to be God answering me.

Firstly, by walking around a piece of land as big as 9 soccer fields,
The People of Israel could see what kind of obstacles they were facing,
and know that not only it's no easy feat to gain victory,
they know that it was a victory only God could achieve.

In today's context,
the challenges we face may seem endless and pointless.
Beloved, probably Daddy God wants you to see the extend of this challenge,
before He pulls of a miracle in style for you?

Secondly, realize how the marching and the bringing down of the walls lack a link?
Try marching around your house and see if it'd collapse.

Similarly, as children of God,
we should know that at the end of the day,
it's not the hard work and effort that contributed to our success,
but it was the Grace of Daddy God.
Just like when doing an exam paper.
Trust not in your own revision,
but how much He loves you.

Beloved, whatever the reason is,
at the end of the day,
I know, that I have a big God.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
