You know what I like about David?

In the midst of challenges,

when his life, and the life of his people and sheep are at risk,

when the future seems uncertain

He always goes back to the Lord.

And when he does, he doesn't beg God for deliverance,

nor does he rant to God.

He gives thanks.

And never is it recorded that David was shortchanged because he took time out to give thanks.

Today, I thank you Daddy God I'm alive and kicking,

I thank you that i have a shelter above my head,

and good counsel around me to turn to.

I thank You that you've called me with a calling,

and that no matter what happens,

I'm still your workmanship, your beloved.

Daddy I thank you for your endless love,

for making me who I am,

and for always being my provider.

Thank you for even listening to me,

when I least deserve it.

Thank you, for sending Jesus.

Beloved, what re you thanking God for today?
