Christmas Revelation (1)
"When they saw the star, they were overjoyed."
(Matthew 2:10)
Just the other day,
I was bored and was staring blankly at my computer screen,
when I noticed my countdown timer.
It was still counting down to Christmas.
At that point, some questions came into my mind.
If Jesus was the reason for the season,
why then when I walked down town,
the things used to create the Christmas atmosphere were merely stars,
Christmas trees and even santa claus.
Where's Jesus in this picture?
There has to be a significance for these, right?
And as always, Daddy God didn't leave me hanging in doubt.
One of the revelations He gave me was this:
Were you ever told to make a wish upon seeing a shooting star?
If so, why? How could a shooting star grant you anything?
Well, a shooting star is basically a dead star dropping through space.
And remember what was used to signify the birth of Baby Jesus?
A Bright Shining star in the sky.
Thus if a bright and shining star was used to signify His birth,
a dead shooting star should remind us of His death for us.
And Romans 8:32 says: "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
If Daddy God did not spare Jesus, what more can He not do for you!?
Thus this is why we make a wish when we see a shooting star.
More revelations to come!
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
