Christmas Revelation (3)

"But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me--and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace."
(1 Corinthians 15:10)
Ever heard of the Christmas carol "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?"
Ever wondered what you're actually singing about?

 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose,
And if you ever saw it,
You would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names;
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say,
Rudolph with your nose so bright,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?

Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
You'll go down in history.

Beloved, this song isn't really about a reindeer.
Look at the message behind it shall we?

Rudolph had a red nose,
and it looks really ugly.
The reindeers around him despised him,
shunned him and outcast him.

But Santa came on a Christmas eve,
saw his gift of a bright nose and appointed him to led the rest of the reindeer,
to guide his sleigh!

Beloved, That is Grace!
Unearned, Unmerited, Undeserved Favor!

Today, you're probably insecure about a certain aspect of your self.
Maybe its a gift you have that you aren't proud of,
maybe u feel your physical appearance is flawed.
Or maybe it's your past that's hindering your walk.

Beloved, if you feel the world hates you,
remember it hated Jesus first.

And remember, just as Santa went to Rudolph and appointed him with a position,
You need not strive and earn your way to Jesus for Him to call you with a calling.

The Law was given through Moses.
But GRACE and TRUTH CAME through Jesus Christ!

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
