Life Through Lenses

Salvation.

It's only achieved through faith,

and not through any amount of good deeds.

Yet more often than not,

believers add Dos and Don't into every life,

as though it's the best way to prevent people from falling short of God's expectation.

Truth to be told,

had we been able to prevent ourselves from sin,

Jesus need not have come.

Yet, some people still put on an act,

as though they are able to keep all of God's commandments,

and go round condemning others.

And at any one point you catch them doing something wrong,

They'd say "At least I tried"

Well beloved, "try" doesn't cut it.

It's either you make the cut, or you don't.

And nobody could.

That was why Jesus came.

Beloved, don't undermine the finished work Jesus did on the cross.

For there in does not lie a license to sin,

but the answer and cure to it.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
