Lost Dry.
"You have crowned the year with Your bounty, And Your paths drip with fatness. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,"
(Psalms 65:11-12)
Once again, its the week end.
Looking back at this week,
it was anything but smooth.
Deadlines to meet,
people to counsel.
By the end of the week,
I was really dry, and needed the word badly.
I remember the verse Pastor gave for this year,
was psalms 65:11.
A friend of mine gave me this revelation,
while I was still feeling dry.
The Paths in which He drips abundance on,
is our year, our future,
from January to December.
Dripping occurs only when there's an overflow.
The moment I meditated on it,
a picture of the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel,
when they're being led to be killed by their parents.
Along the way, Hansel dropped stones on the floor,
so He could find his way back.
Beloved, the same applies.
The bible doesn't promise us a trouble-free life.
But along the way,
we as humans tend to go off track, and be lost.
And it's moments like these,
that we need to look back on the abundance He placed on the paths.
When the going gets tough,
remember, to look back on His abundance.
It will lead you home.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
