Blameless
"We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us, a field that reaches even to you."
(2 Corinthians 10:12-13)
Think the concept of leadership in church is often flawed.
People often compare it to how the world defines leadership - The right to tell others what to do.
Truth to be told,
leadership is just another avenue of serving Daddy God.
It's not something more significant as other areas of serving.
Though the responsibilities are greater.
Leadership I feel,
is the act of leading people to do what is right,
even though the person may not feel like it.
It's the act of first setting first by example,
and leaving that legacy behind.
More importantly, the act of humility,
and putting weight to your words.
Be the person that you tell others to be,
be a testimony,
and not have anything for men to blame you about.
And leadership isn't something to boast about yourself.
It's about boasting Jesus to others, inspiring them while doing so.
And This message, Glorifies Jesus.
