Me Against The World
"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes--the Jew first and also the Gentile."
(Romans 1:16)
Sometimes I wonder,
why aren't Christians today persecuted to day like how Paul was in the Bible.
Probably because we aren't preaching Grace as radically as he did?
The way I look at it,
these days when the gospel is shared,
it's modified to an extend, it becomes politically correct to the world,
and thus the world finds it acceptable, but in the process,
lives are not being changed.
I say we shouldn't do that and start sharing once again what the real gospel is.
The gospel of Jesus and His Unearned, Undeserved, Unmerited Favor bestowed upon us,
through the Finished Work.
Along the way, people are bound to rise up and challenge the theory of Grace.
Grace would be touted as illogical, as absurd.
But that's what it's all about.
Logic calls for cause and effect.
Grace, is all about experience the effect of Jesus one good cause,
and none of ours.
And this love is absurd.
Let people say what they want.
We don't share to please people.
We share to Glorify Jesus, and edify His people.
So Why still be ashamed?
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
