"So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ."

(Romans 10:17)

Just the other day,

I was asking God why does hearing comes by listening,

and not by fellowship or even reading?

Then it donned upon me the significance of hearing.

One can read a note written by some one,

but the writer might be somewhere far away.

Fellowship can be talking and edifying a certain someone,

but still, the person in context may not be physically present.

But when you listen,

When something is audible,

you know that thing is very near you.

And its only when you're conscious of how close Daddy God is to you,

you are able to receive in faith whatever you ask for.

When the world comes crashing down on you,

when all around is darkness,

remember, beloved,

Maybe just a still small voice from Daddy God is what you need,

to be guided out of this mess.
