The Brother.

"There are "friends" who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother."
(Proverbs 18:24)
Just this week my pastor spoke something that reminded me of the importance of having a friend.
A close friend.
And that friend serves many functions in our lives.
To be there for us,
to be frank with us,
to share joy and burdens,
and to spar with us when we're growing fat to keep our faith muscles strong.
And this friend will ultimately point you back to Jesus,
should you walk into a fog in your life,
and fail to see what's beyond.

Remember, after all, when the 12 spies were sent into the promise land,
it was Joshua AND Caleb who stood by their faith.
Not Joshua alone, not Caleb alone.

Jesus died alone so you need not.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
