The Unforced Rhythm of Grace

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God."
(Ephesians 2:8)
I was at the beach today.
The sea looked calm,
and I didn't really think much about the waves as it hit the shore,
until I was in the water myself.

The tides were growing,
and each wave was bigger than the previous.
At one point as I was partially submerged in the water enjoying the coolness of it,
I was constantly pushed back to the shore by the strong tides.

And that's when I realized that was how God's Grace operated in my life.
See, beloved, if Grace is an ocean, we'd all be sinking.
And comparing our physical size to the size of an ocean,
that's the exact ratio of our messed up life to the Grace of God.

And key to life is merely submerging yourself in the ocean of Grace,
and allow it's waves to carry you home.
Out in the ocean, your struggling, your swimming amounts to nothing.
Because it's the waves that will bring you back in shore eventually.
Beloved, it's time we stop struggling,
and start flowing in the rhythm of Grace.
Only then, can we say we've truly lived life.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
