Deception
"We live by faith, not by sight."
(2 Corinthians 5:7)
I was shopping one evening with a couple of friends.
Along the way, one of them took a toy ball,
and squeezed it through a small opening of a hanging basket.
Had He not done that, I wouldn't know it'd be possible.
Probably because I believed solely in what I saw.
This thought brought me back to a couple of weeks ago,
when I was on a bus, and it passed by a church.
On it was a statue of Jesus, holding the cross in one hand,
waving with the other.
He was properly dressed and appeared happy.
And the sight of it,
I believe is why many believers loose track of what Jesus had done for them.
Beloved, as far as I'm concerned,
As far as the bible is concerned,
Jesus wasn't that cheerful and healthy while carrying the cross,
all the way up the hill where He was crucified,
He was so weak, He fell countless times.
In one of the gospels, Jesus was so weak,
He needed somebody to carry the cross for Him.
Beloved, it is only you know how much Jesus has done for you,
How He willingly endured the whipping and nails for you,
to bring you salvation and life more abundantly,
can you feel how much He loves you.
As far as Jesus is a Divine being today,
On that cross, He was fully Man too.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
