The Light
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
(Psalm 119:105)
Before Jesus came, there was a ruler in Israel Named David.
King David.
A shepherd boy by trade when younger,
He was anointed by Daddy God to become King.
And he was such a remarkable ruler,
He left his legacy on the flag of Israel.
So what was David's key to success?
Apart from the level of faith he Had in God that he could bring down Goliath,
He understood the importance of the word.
His word.
Then about 2000 years ago, things changed.
The words He read, became alive on Christmas Day.
The gospel of John says that The word became flesh, and dwelt among us.
That flesh, came in the form of Jesus.
The way, the truth and the light.
Beloved, When all David had was the word of God,
He became King.
What more, when we have Jesus, the word made flesh today?
Read Him, Draw from Him and Enjoy Him.
That, beloved, is what Jesus described as the one thing that is needful.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
