A Break.
"Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping."
(Matthew 8:24)
Sometimes we get so caught up with work,
we don't realize time had just flown by,
and though we're tired,
we refuse to stop and continue going on.
But we forget that a tired mind doesn't function very well,
does it?
Jesus as a man, had a lot to do.
From healing, to arguing with the legalistic people,
healing and casting out demons.
He was a busy man.
But the thing about Jesus,
He knew when to rest.
He slept on the boat!
Beloved, Rest assured today Jesus isn't a man but fully God.
He doesn't sleep.
So when things gets busy,
do stop, and take a break.
If possible, listen to a sermon or some worship songs.
Let Jesus fill your mind for a moment or two.
And then see the improved quality of your work.
And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
