Perspective

""Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?""
(John 4:29)
One thing the differentiates a leader from a follower, is perspective.
And a leader from a good leader, better perspective.

As leaders whom God has called us to be,
we have to see things from a different point of view,
as compared to those who are under our charge.

Because what many people do is judge based on behavior of an individual,
but they fail to see the deeper issue that lies within.

Jesus saw a woman drawing water by the well.
It was written that she came in the afternoon.
But do you know that nobody comes in the afternoon to draw water?
So why did she do it?

Because she was an outcast in her society.

Having had 5 husbands, and living with a 6th one now,
people around her judged her by her behavior,
and outcast her.
And because of such insecurity,
She avoids crowds and draws water in the afternoon instead.

That was when she met the best leader around - Jesus.
Jesus had a different perspective of her.
Jesus didn't see her as the girl with many husbabds,
but as a girl who needed a love only God can give.

He gave it, She realized it,
and there and then, became the first evangelist in the bible.

Sometimes, it's good that we be slow to judge,
because what we see in behaviors are often roots of underlying issues,
which we don't see an individual going through.

Be like Jesus, and see things different.

And This Message, Glorifies Jesus.
