"There are "friends" who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother."

(Proverbs 18:24)

In this world,

there would be to kind of people who you'll meet.

People who'd actually point you to Jesus, despite the circumstances you're facing,

and stand in faith with you.

And then there are those who'd point you to yourself,

despite how weak you are because you are because they just don't have Jesus in their lives.

And more often than not, advices offered by these people,

no matter how awesome they sound, avails to nothing.

See beloved, when the bible writes about friends who destroy you,

it isn't just talking about people who'd lead you to wasteful living,

but rather people who always ask you to believe in yourself rather than Jesus,

and people who spread their self righteous attitude to you.

The best place to look for a perfect friend?

Your church, your tribe.

There, all you need is just that one friend,

who is like a Jonathan to David.

A friend who will stand in faith with you,

and remind you of your righteousness.

Beloved, have you found that friend?

You never know how significant this friendship is,

until you realize how he sticks to you like a brother
