Life Through Lenses

A great deal of our day to day emotions,

are based on memories, isn't it?

Sometimes out of the blue,

we think of happy moments and start smiling,

or the sad moments and start frowning.

And sometimes, it's these memories,

that prevent us from moving forward in life.

One time, a comedian went up to stage,

and started the show with a joke that got the entire audience laughing.

Moments later, he repeated the joke again,

but the response from the crowd wasn't as overwhelming as the first time he said it.

By the fourth time he said the same joke,

there was almost no laughter.

And it was at that point he made a statement that left a great impression.

"We cant laugh at the same joke over and over again, cant we?

Then why is it that we get affected by the same problems over and over again?"

Beloved, doesn't that make sense?

Why be affected, when Jesus has already suffered?

Food for thought.
